The Platform Was Showcased At Niron Staal, the Netherlands, on March 13, 2015.
Blue Tec (tidal energy converter) is the floating base upon which any type of tidal generator can be mounted.
These units can be quickly made and shipped worldwide for quick deployment.
At the show was the 200 KW scaled down version of the Blue Tec.
There will be a naming ceremony for the Blue Tec on April 9. 2015 after which will be towed to it’s mooring location and will become the first floating tidal energy generating platform in the Netherlands off Texel island.
